Characteristics and Application Range:

Typical tin brass, with high corrosion resistance in atmosphere, steam, oil, and seawater, and good mechanical properties. Machinability is acceptable, easy to weld and braze, excellent cold working performance, moderate hot bending and hot extrusion performance, with a tendency for stress corrosion cracking.

Sn: 0.8-1.3

Ni: 0.5

Fe: 0.10

Pb: 0.05

Zn: Balance

Impurities: 0.3

As: 0.03-0.06

Mechanical Properties:

Tensile Strength: (σb/MPa) ≥245

Elongation: (δ5/%) ≥40

Note: Longitudinal room temperature tensile mechanical properties of bars

Sample Size: Diameter 10～75

Heat Treatment Specification: Hot working temperature 650～750℃; Annealing temperature 560～580℃; Low-temperature annealing temperature for stress relief 300～650℃.
